You are invited to participate in an international study that examines how pedagogical perspectives and practices related to neuroscience, psychology, and education may inform teaching, learning, and assessment. The study also seeks to explore the types of professional development you engaged in from March 1, 2020 to October 1, 2021. This study is being led by the Online Learning Consortium, Drexel University (United States), and Northern Arizona University (United States) in collaboration with research team members at American University (United States), Auburn University (United States), Universidad de las Américas (Ecuador), and North-West University (South Africa).

We are inviting instructors (faculty, professors, lecturers; adjunct faculty, professors, lecturers), instructional designers, and professional development administrators who work worldwide within institutions of higher education (IHEs) (e.g., college or university) across online, blended/hybrid, and on-site modalities to participate in this study. If you work in one of these roles, please complete the survey using the link below. We also ask that you share this invitation with both (a) colleagues at your institution and (b) contacts at other IHEs who work in these roles worldwide.

Survey Completion Date: Monday, November 22, 2021

Estimated Time of Completion: 12-15 minutes

When you click on the Qualtrics survey link, you will be asked to provide consent to participate in this study. The results of the study will be used to inform professional development and instructional practice. The results will be shared through an online open-access report through the Online Learning Consortium in Winter 2022. At the end of the survey, you will have the option to be included in a drawing for one of two 3-7 day Online Learning Consortium workshops.
